You can’t beat the location of this hotel, directly overlooking Lake Bohinj, its little bridge and its medieval church. In the evenings we loved sitting on the spacious balcony of our room, watching the clouds go pink over the Julian Alps. From our balcony we could even see a bit of Mt Triglav, Slovenia’s highest mountain. Our room was very spacious and comfortable, and breakfast, which was included in our rate, was excellent. Should also mention that the buffet dinner, at 25 euros a head including drinks, was very good value. The hotel also had a heated pool and garden, which made a pleasant change from swimming in the lake. The other thing I would stress is that Lake Bohinj is a much pleasanter and more relaxed destination than the very touristy and overcrowded Lake Bled.

The view was amazing from the room, The staff were really kind and helpful The food was really good too both the breakfast and buffet dinner. The whole place is the best place to rest as it is very silent and noone is disturbing you. At night if you open the window you could even hear The rumbling of the lake and it is truly amazing there is not too much traffic at night so even that does not bother you. All in all i would recoomend this place to everyone who wish to have a bit of a peace in their life also i would recomennd to take at least 5 nights there as less would not be enough. We will surely visit once again in the future. Thank you for having us Best Regards

The hotel was lovely. It isn't particularly flashy but it was bright, airy, well decorated and very clean. The food was really good with a wide choice at the buffet. The staff couldn't have been friendlier or more helpful. The room was spacious, comfortable and clean with a good view from the balcony. Easy and free to park in the hotel car park. Almost on the edge of the lake which was lovely for evening walks. If I have one gripe it's that there are no tea/coffee making facilities in the room but I think that's just a cultural thing and drinks were available downstairs. Thank you to the hotel and staff for such a lovely stay!!

Surely the low season does not help a wonderful place like Lake Bohimj, but it is certain that we have found a lot of kindness. Referring to the hotel, a very beautiful structure, certainly worth taking care of some details, but they are small things. Instead, we want to thank all the hotel staff for their exceptional kindness, courtesy and availability. We could only have dinner, but it was amazing, especially the latter. Great staff, great structure, we will bring a nice memory with us. Thanks again.

On request, we were provided with hot water and cups as there was no kettle in the room, which is common in Europe. The breakfast and dinner were quite substantial with the evening dinner including drinks. We thought the evening meal was a bit ‘canteenish’ but was still okay. Location is nice and close to the lake and there was ample free parking on site.
